USA: Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society — to find yourself an 8-week program in various places in the US, in England, Ireland, Wales, or elsewhere in the world; or for professional training to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction yourself.

Yoga:

Sandra Piretti teaches yoga with a good dose of mindfulness.  This is unusual…and pretty rare.  Attentive to your level and capabilities, she prepares the body for each posture by breaking it down into several preparatory movements, moving effortlessly into more engagement.  You don’t have to have done yoga before.  Another interesting aspects: she introduces space into breathing exercises; using language, she transforms the way you lean on your hands and feet; although her course last an hour and a quarter, one has the impression of space and time.  Check out her website at

Her airy studio is located a stone’s throw from the Cantonal Hospital at 24, rue Goetz-Monin (Plainpalais-Hôpital).
